About Pyrford
At the time of the Domesday Survey, the population of Pyrford was 100 residents. There were fifteen acres of meadows and woods, 80 pigs, two mills and a chapel. Today the beautiful village in the borough of Woking sits around 2 miles from Woking, about 8 miles from Guildford and 25 miles from London. With a population of approximately 5,000, this small village is steeped in natural beauty and historical significance. It is a popular commuter village for those travelling close by and out of the major towns and cities.
The Pyrford Community
There are plenty of local shops, restaurants and cafes in the area that are particularly popular amongst the locals, from the bakery and cafe, a convenience store and supermarket, a hairdresser, local butchers, and a wine shop. If you need anything additional, Woking, West Byfleet and Guildford are easy to get to by car, bus or rail. Close by Brooklands Retail Park has a wide range of high street favourites to enjoy. Brooklands Museum, RHS Wisley Gardens, and local trail walks are great weekend activities also.

A very friendly, in-depth market appraisal. Lots of information was provided about the reason for the valuation and advice on what improvements should or shouldn’t be made if planning to sell the house soon.
