Did you know…

Grangetown was attacked in the Cardiff Blitz, on 2nd January 1941, roughly 100 German World War 2 planes raided the area for over 10 hours. Some victims of the attack took shelter in Hollyman Brothers Bakery, on the corner of Corporation Road and Stockland street. This building is still standing today, as Clarence Hardware shop. (testing)

About Grangetown

Grangetown is a district in the south of Cardiff, the capital of Wales. Grangetown is one of the largest districts in the city, with a population of 19,835 (as of the 2011 Census). The area is diverse and multicultural, and it is one of Cardiff’s most up and coming suburbs.

Our estate agents love Grangetown as it is located so close to Cardiff city centre, you can walk into the city within half an hour, and there is also a train station in Grangetown so it’s a 10 minute journey by train. (testing)

Things to do in Grangetown

  • Our estate agents in Grangetown love Tramshed, a music and arts venue which is housed in a Grade II listed converted tram depot, which dates back to 1902. Tramshed hosts a range of big name DJ’s.
  • Grange Pavillion is great for little ones, there is a 3G pitch for football, a playpark for little ones, and a coffee shop for adults. There are also 3 function rooms available for hire, and a hot-desk space.
  • For food and drink our estate agents love The Grange Pub, a laid back bar that offers up traditional British grub such as beer battered cod and chips. The Grange also has a great beer garden, and TV’s so you can catch all the important rugby games.
  • If you’re feeling adventurous, Ninja Warrior Adventure Park is a must. You can climb, jump, balance and swing through a range of obstacles, pretending you’re a star in the well known show.  (testing)

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT US . . .

quote

We used RE/MAX for the sale of our property. RE/MAX was very helpful from start to finish, always there at the end of the phone when needed. Always chasing for updates. They have been truly amazing! Their costs are also very good value for money when you consider the service they provide. I would highly recommend!

We recently sold our house with RE/MAX and are so happy with the service we have received. Our house sold in a matter of days, which is amazing, and Shaun has been contactable at all times for any questions we have. We would definitely recommend using RE/MAX to anyone we know who is thinking of moving home.

A very friendly, in-depth market appraisal. Lots of information was provided about the reason for the valuation and advice on what improvements should or shouldn’t be made if planning to sell the house soon. Overall a very helpful guide on what our house is currently worth. If we decide to sell we would definitely use RE/MAX.
