Compton is a suburb of Wolverhampton, west of the city centre. The name reflects its position, in a valley. The area was first mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086, as ‘Contone’, from the Old English word ‘cumb’, meaning a narrow valley or deep hollow.
Compton is only a 10 minute drive from Wolverhampton city centre, so our estate agents recommend the area to those who are looking to be near the hustle and bustle of city life.

A very friendly, in-depth market appraisal.
